The Facial Messaging AR effect was inspired by artificial intelligence (AI) technologies developed in Intel’s Human and AI Research Systems Lab, including the open-source Assistive Context-Aware Toolkit (ACAT).

My role: After conceptualizing the idea, I collaborated with Intel and Meta to unveil Facial Messaging, an innovative Instagram AR effect that allows Instagram users to compose a message video using simple facial movements, and then share the video on Stories and Reels.
